y.o.d.a (Ytterbium Optical Dynamic Amplifer) header image

The Mobius Photonics Ytterbium Optical Dynamic Amplifier (Y.O.D.A.) is a high small-signal gain polarization maintaining (PM) amplifier for use in low duty-cycle, high-peak-power systems.

Its dual stage configuration allows independent control of pumping for each gain stage and a small-signal gain of 30 dB. The amplifier offers a low signal-to-noise ratio. It is optimized for the 1064-nm wavelength, with custom wavelength options available.

Currently used in G1 lasers, Mobius' Y.O.D.A. is a field-proven bench top system. This turnkey module features simple user controls and is packaged for easy integration.
