Mobius Photonics Changes Leadership
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - June 28th, 2009 - Dr. Laura Smoliar, founder and CEO of Mobius Photonics, successfully built and led the company for the first four years since its inception. Dr. Smoliar resigned as CEO and Chairman of the Board as of June 28th, 2009, to pursue new business opportunities, but she will remain as a consultant to the board during a transition period. The Interim CEO of Mobius Photonics is Robert Mortensen, an experienced leader in the laser field and past CEO of Quanta-Ray and of Lightwave Electronics.
